One Degree, Many Paths: Careers Aren’t One Job

Trainee Career Panel and Networking Social

Thursday, May 7, 2026 (4:45pm - 6:15pm)

Halifax Convention Centre, Convention Level, Room 109

One degree can lead in many different directions. This panel introduces students to the range of roles and sectors connected to nutrition through the lived experiences of professionals in the field. By focusing on exploration rather than outcomes, the session encourages students to think broadly about their interests, strengths, and possibilities as they begin shaping their own path.

Following the panel, continue the conversation through informal networking roundtables. This is an opportunity to connect with panelists and peers, ask questions, and exchange perspectives in a relaxed setting. Whether you are still exploring what interests you or beginning to think about possible directions, these discussions are designed to spark ideas, build confidence, and help you see what’s possible with your nutrition degree.

This event is supported by the CIHR INMD Training and Community Support Grant
