You’ve generated the evidence—now what does it take for that evidence to inform a real decision? Knowledge mobilization (KMb) goes beyond dissemination. It requires intentionally designing research for use—identifying priority audiences, clarifying the decisions your findings can inform, and selecting the right products, timing, and engagement strategies to support uptake in policy, practice, and community settings. In this interactive workshop, participants will work through a realistic nutrition research scenario and develop a practical KMb plan under real-world constraints. Through guided activities, they will practice prioritizing audiences, aligning messages and products to decision contexts, and adapting strategies when faced with limited budgets, competing evidence, or shifting timelines.
Who can attend? This workshop is open to trainees (undergraduate & graduate students) and early career researchers/postdoctoral fellows (ECI).
