Multimodal Approaches in Nutrition Care

This session will explore multimodal approaches that include a focus on Nutrition Care. The concept of Pre-habillitation is a multimodal intervention used in surgical populations. This will be explored and will include a discussion of a recent systemtatic review and real life experiences and evidence for the various components of this multimodal intervention. In other patient populations virtual strategies may be used to enhance mind-body interventions that include nutrition and mobilization all the way from screening to intervention. This represents an opportunity for a wide variety of patients in work that spans the inpatient and outpatient environment. Join as world experts discuss the interaction between nutrition and activity in practice.
