Advanced Practice Dietitian and Assistant Professor of Nutrition
Nutrition Support, Mayo Clinic Rochester
I will translate this science regarding feeding the gut into clinical practice. I will discuss the role of fiber and whole foods in enteral nutrition in modulating the microbiome, with a focus on blenderized tube feeding and its impact on patient outcomes. I will provide practical strategies for implementing microbiome-supportive nutrition in diverse care settings (home and hospital) with a focus mostly on adult patients.
